  4. The CorelDRAW QuickTour is a multimedia tutorial, designed to introduce 
  5. the user to all applications in the CorelDRAW box in a fun and informative 
  6. fashion.
  7.  
  8. This version of the QuickTour is a limited subset covering only
  9. CorelPHOTO-PAINT. The full QuickTour is available in the CorelDRAW 4.0 
  10. package. If you have previously installed the full QuickTour, do
  11. not install this limited version over it.

  13. INSTALLATION
  14. ============

  16. To install the QuickTour, open the Program Manager and from the 
  17. File Menu, select Run...
  18.  
  19. In the Run dialog, enter:
  20.  
  21. F:\qtour\setup.exe
  22.  
  23. Where F is the drive letter of your CD-ROM
  24.  
  25. From there, simply follow the instructions as they appear during the
  26. setup program.

  28. To close the QuickTour simply select CLOSE from the Control Menu Box, 
  29. located in the upper-left corner of the QuickTour Window.

  31. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  34. Personal Computer with a 386/25 or higher running Microsoft Windows
  35. operating system version 3.1 with 4MB of RAM
  36.  
  37. Audio Board compatible with Windows
  38.  
  39. VGA Display (256-color or higher)
  40.  
  41. Mouse or compatible pointing device.

  44. KNOWN PROBLEMS
  45. ==============

  47. 1. If you are running an 8514 Display or the like you will experience,
  48. incorrectly sized graphics because of the difference in DPI between
  49. 8514 genre of display adapters and VGA displays. 
  50.  
  51. Please change to a Super VGA or VGA display. Your display can be
  52. at any resolution or color depth, however the ideal setting is 
  53. 640 by 480, 256 colors. Some 1024x768 drivers have a regular and 
  54. a large font driver. The Large font driver may exhibit the same
  55. problems as the 8514 drivers since they also use the 120 dpi. Use
  56. the regular 1024x768 driver if this problem occurs.

  58. 2. When using ATI Mach 32 Driver for UltraPro, The FlexDesk Control Panel 
  59. should be running with the 256 color palette ON, and Device Bitmaps OFF. 
  60. It doesn't matter whether the dithering is Fast or VGA standard.
